Watch Us #Innovate: Sprint 3 July 29, 2016Summer is quickly coming to a close and it’s great to see all of the development that our interns have been hard at work on. They have certainly come a long way! The objective for this sprint was to extend their projects further to increase their software’s usefulness in the contact center. Team One: Omni-Channel Ben and Matt have continued to make progress on creating omni-channel functionality. This time around, they added the ability to push work items to the agent and push Omni-Channel data to reporting into MSCRM. Team Two: Zang SMS Integration Erkin and Sweety’s project was to create text-to-agent functionality for Contact Canvas using Zang SMS integration. They were able to successfully create a server based Zang Message Handler with push to the Agent. Team Three: Skype for Business Integration Edwin and Ahman have worked with Skype for Business to create a server-based S4B chat handler with push to Agent. Some of the features they’ve created are a database that stores agent chat history so the agents can view “My Chats Today” and queues that manage chat work items and route to agents as per their availability.
