Summer 2017 Cloud Challenge Wraps UpAugust 14, 2017The final sprint has come and gone, and our interns are now able to breathe a sigh of relief as the summer internship comes to an end. It’s safe to say our interns put in their blood, sweat, and tears to push through and end strong.WebRTCWebRTC kicked things off for the final sprint demo. Dmitriy and Jeff were able to get a screen pop to work (yay), a time-out function that would come into play if a call was not answered, and most importantly a fully functional video chat. Jeff and Dmitriy were able to successfully demo their functions and ended the sprint very strong. Our intern Dmitriy says “I’m so happy everything worked just as planned, and we’re sad to have the whole experience come to an end.”Team MicrosoftKevin and Austin had an incredibly successful sprint. They ended things with a bang by having a fully functional plug-in that has the potential of being pitched to a beta customer (wow!). Kevin and Austin were able to successfully demo all of their hard work from the summer, and we’re so impressed with their final product. Not only did they have a screenpop, they demonstrated hold functions, inbound and outbound calls, soft transfers, conference, and so much more. Austin excitedly shared, “when the demo ran so smoothly, I was celebrating on the inside and I knew that everything we had worked for was a huge success.”Team SAPAddison and Nikki had a very interesting demo prepared for us! They were able to demonstrate gamification, which means agents are awarded points depending on how many tickets are sold. Their demo can successfully integrate into the AMC toolbar, so that when an agent’s name is typed a picture, name, leaderboard of the company, as well as the ranking of each agent is pulled up. This fun, competitive feature can prove useful and provide insight as to the successes of an agent! Addison was very happy to say, ““Overall, I found this experience to be a rewarding one. “Team SalesforceCollin and Paul continued to better their AI feature with Einstein. It was amazing to see the progression of AI as well as the learning feature that was demonstrated for the final sprint. Collin and Paul were able to show the functionality of Einstein Vision & Sentiment, and hands free agent functionality using Cortana with improvements. Collin and Paul both said “We weren’t completely happy with how the demo went, but we did our best to show exactly what we did and we are looking forward to the progression of AI.”And that’s a wrap! #WatchUsInnovateMariah MaysMariah spends her days in Illustrator and marketing stat spreadsheets at AMC Technology.
