AMC Technology Announces Support of the SAP Business Routing Interface with the AMC Multi-Channel Intelligent Router

RICHMOND, VA - November 06, 2000 - AMC Technology, an industry leader in CRM solutions and CTI technology, announced today that it is integrating the SAP™ Business Routing Interface with AMC’s multi-channel intelligent routing interface. By supporting the SAP Business Router, AMC provides companies the widest set of choices in deploying their multi-channel contact center solutions. AMC supports intelligent routing across all of its Channel Connectors (web chat, telephony, email, two-way paging and IVR). Multi-channel intelligent routing enables companies to ensure appropriate handling of customer requests and provide more robust customer relationship management.

At the heart of AMC’s Multi-Channel Intelligent Routing is a scripting language that allows calls to be made through the SAP Business Router or directly against RFC’s or BAPI's in the SAP system. This scripting language is easily configurable and provides a powerful tool to create a customized routing process to meet unique business requirements. The intelligent router uses the data it has gathered and the type of contact presented (telephone, web chat, page, etc.) to route the contact to the appropriate department and agent.
