To Provide CIC Custom
Component for Luminate™
Software's ServiceDesk
RICHMOND, VA - September 8, 1999 – AMC Technology, L.L.C. today announced the
availability of a new custom component for the Customer Interaction Center (CIC)
that will integrate directly with Luminate™ Software’s ServiceDesk for SAP™ R/3®.
This component will provide the user with direct access to Luminate’s web-based performance
reports on the SAP R/3 system.

and President, AMC Technology. “The integration of the two applications will enable
help desk personnel to quickly identify and respond to a system performance problem
without requiring extensive SAP R/3 training.”
Through the use of icons on the CIC main screen, users will be able to toggle to any of
five ServiceDesk reports – top users, top transactions, network, users and transactions.
Clicking on the icon will automatically open an Internet browser and allow the user to
navigate to other reports while in the Luminate screen. When done, the user returns to
the CIC screen and procedures can be implemented within the CIC help desk environment to
resolve the problem identified.
This is the first custom component that AMC will be developing to incorporate into the
HelpDesk Solution Pack. (See Press Release on AMC Solution Packs dated September, 8, 1999.)
